When a Romanian and a French meet over a piano… and a drink,

…surprising things can happen.

“They could have had a successful career as classical musicians”, say French reviews, but instead they chose to… have a good time.

If you’re in Paris, go to Theatre Trevise to watch Paul Staicu and Laurent Cirade in the most hilarious music show there is. Outstanding virtuosity, tons of humor and a great sense for music.

I was particularily delighted to see crazy Paul Staicu talking Romanian at will on a Parisian stage, while the audience seemed to perfectly understand what he was talking about,

but the really impressive moment (for me) came when they played some Romanian tunes… their own way:

Go see them if you have the chance – you will remember that evening.
